PREHEADER: A worked example of the high water mark, in plain numbers.

Hi {{FIRST_NAME}},

Plenty of investment fees come out whether you made money or not. High Capital Group's fee only exists once you have.

It's 30% of profits, charged after the profit is made, with no upfront fees. It's also worked out on a high water mark, which their FAQ explains with an example I'll borrow.

Say you invest $5,000 and make $1,000 in month one. You pay 30%, which is $300.

Say month two is down $200. There was no profit, so there's no fee.

In month three you make $1,000 again. You're only $800 above your previous high, so you pay 30% of $800, which is $240.

So you never pay a fee for simply getting back to where you were, and the firm's income rises and falls with yours.

[Add a sentence comparing this with a fee you've paid elsewhere.]
